The heart behind the BTS Dulhan.
“Dulhan” means bride in Hindi. I named this business for every bride who wants to remember how her day actually felt: the chaos, the giggles, the quiet hand squeeze before the aisle.

It felt as if my childhood best friend had come to capture our special moments.
We booked Ruchi for four hours, and she chose to stay the entire time simply because she was having so much fun.
Our friends and family could not stop raving about how kind and sweet she was.
I literally woke up the next day & it was uploading.
Within 24 hours, she had uploaded thousands of photos and videos and a dozen edited reels.
It felt like such a gift to still be on the island and already getting videos from Ruchi.
We were initially on the fence since we already had both a photographer and videographer, but we're now total advocates for it.
Do not be fooled into thinking it's “just iPhone content.” Ruchi's eye, timing and talent were 23098x better than anything we could have taken.
I couldn't believe that what I was seeing was shot on an iPhone!
I cannot stress enough to others that a content creator is worth the splurge.

Bollywood-meets-royalty weddings
I grew up surrounded by the most epic weddings: grand, colorful, sacred. My creative spirit was burning like a fireworks display… but I was told the only way to succeed was to become a computer engineer.
Master's in CS, Apple, Facebook
So I did what any obedient middle-class Indian kid would do and became a tech wizard. Living “the dream,” but a little voice kept whispering: what if you followed your soul instead of writing code?
A voice in the Andes
Day three of a solo trek on the Salkantay Trail to Machu Picchu. Sitting under the stars, I heard it, clear as day: “Ruchi, if not now, when?” I cried in the middle of the mountains. It was a sign.
Quit tech. Moved to Hawaiʻi.
It took three more years to undo a whole belief system (and convince my parents). Then I packed up my life and moved to the Big Island. It felt like finally breathing after holding my breath for years.
Living my best life, at your wedding
Every week I get to tell love stories across the islands with a camera in hand and a heart full of gratitude. If I could tell 17-year-old me this would be my job, she'd be very confused. Mission accomplished.
